Le commentaire accompagnant la référence 948 indiquait :
"Avant que le train n'arrive à l'extrèmité de la voie, son sens de circulation est automatiquement inversé par l'action du petit levier de changement de marche "R".
Par l'action du levier de l'aiguillage "S" le train s'engage sur l'autre voie où il peut,
en actionnant la commande "C", dételer tout ou partie des wagons du train.
De même ce mécanisme spécifique permet l'attelage automatique au train de wagons isolés .

In the supplement to the 1928 BUB catalog are 948 and 949 references down.
The commentary accompagning the 948 reference stated :
"Before the train arrives at the end of the track, its flow direction is automatically reversed
by the action of small change lever "R".
By the action of the command lever "S" the train entered the other track where it may, by the action
of the "C" command, uncouple all or part of the train cars.
Also this specific mechanism allows automatic coupling of wagons to the train."
